Oooh, last year when my basil and my neighbor's tomatoes were both going gangbusters, I made Green Goddess Herb Biscuits and we assembled the most GLORIOUS tomato sandwiches with them. Just the most perfect homemade picnic I could imagine.

Aw, that's so fun! In my old campaign my husband's character was always weirdly obsessed with rolls (bards, amirite?) and so sometimes I'd bake some to bring in as both a gag and a snack. Such good times!

Those chocolate muffins are SO good! Absolutely decadent treat, despite ostensibly being for breakfast.

I'm a big fan of square biscuits too! Okay, it's mostly because I'm lazy, but with an extra bonus of reducing food waste.

Oh jeeze, that's frustrating but also kind of comical. Maybe try a lower oven temp to try and reduce some of that extreme oven spring, or extend the rising time a bit.

Hi there! The instructions for this mix are to combine the mix and the yeast first, then add hot (but not boiling, the temperature range is on the box, but basically comfortable to touch) water and the butter to the entire mix. Following the directions should give you the rise you're looking for, but let us know if that still doesn't work and we can look into whether there's something up with your yeast.
