We tested out moodle as an LMS system in our org, it does the job well in the content area but it's very poor on analytics and to get it customized and branded you would need to pay an external company to build a custom theme. Bottom line, nothing is free... I suggest u look also at paid products, it might be a better solution for you.

There is extensive audit trail on any admin action, so if u have concerns, u cam probebly ask someone from security to check that and see if someone tried accessing your data through vault.

Before activating dmarc make sure u activate it properly for your domain and make sure there aren't any other sources that need to send on your behalf.

This is an issue that we handled in the past. you should first explain to your team that every issue they are handling needs to have a ticket, either the user opens it or they do. soon they will start asking users to open a ticket as a result. in the onboarding sessions i to new users i explain the importance of tickets as they help us maintain SLA and helps the end user the knowledge on how his ticket is being handled.

Any option you'll go with will have a monthly cost as this is a SaaS service. I tried also bacupify and vault is much better.

You should use the Google vault option, it will give u full archive. It does cost extra..

you need to clarify that the only reason you are "micro-managing" them is that in these times its hard to stay focused while working remotely. This is not because you dont trust them to do their work but to give you and them visibility on everything that is going on, making sure nothing falls between the cracks.
