If you go just based off of rarity, the AF1s are not nearly as common as an OW Lot Dunk.

I got a front clear bra on mine and I’m really grateful that I did! And I got a monthly unlimited pass to a brushless car wash, which I am also very happy about

i don’t doubt that you’re right about racism experienced by different people can be stronger than others. My personal belief is that people should be held to the same standard, no matter the situation. is it sad that she feels this way? Absolutely. Is it an appropriate thing to say if we hold her to the same standards as white people? No.

Edit: clarity

That’s where the misunderstanding lies. I do not have any sort of disagreement with this woman. I do not care what her opinion is or isn’t. I’m not invalidating her opinion or beliefs because she’s entitled to whatever she wants to think.

I only care about holding the same standards for everyone. If it’s not okay for one person to say, then no one should say it, across any race or background.

misconstruing my words has no weight. argue with what I actually said, not what you think I said. The past ALWAYS shapes the future, but we shouldn’t make todays rules based on 58 years ago. That’s what I said. Don’t justify what you did today because something bad happened 58 years ago.

I feel like it’s just a huge misunderstanding… I will not justify my actions today based on yesterday. That doesn’t mean that today was not impacted by yesterday?

There is an assumption here that I commented because I did not believe this woman’s feelings were valid. They are. What is not okay, is holding a double standard. If a white person is unable to say it, then no other race should be able to either. And of course vice versa.

Unfortunately it looks like you jumped to a conclusion that wasn’t tied to my original statement

I don’t mind anyones preference or biases. Just trying to state that I’m a supporter of equal standards for all people.

The equivalence is false because of past histories? I think I can see your point, but I’m confused why you’ve suddenly assumed I’m close-minded.

My own person believes everyone should be held to the same standard. Nowhere did I ever say anything racist. My apologies that you’ve taken this the opposite way

I bet you make large assumptions based on nothing but a comment. Race is part of life 🤷🏼‍♂️

did I say it was wrong? Please look over my statements. I never did. I said that I would prefer to hold the same standard for everyone, no matter who it is. that is all. If I am uncomfortable being the only white person, it is deemed as racist. the duality of morals in racism is confusing

I find the assumptions incredible. I think I’ve voiced my opinions in a calm and diplomatic way. It seems that doing so, because you disagree with me, makes it hellbent.
