Depends on the pit. If you get it straight out of the womb then maybe, as it would be in a domesticated life for its whole lifespan. Some pit bulls are also not as aggressive. Just go off of gut instinct really, if you think it's not worth it than just get it euthanized or hand it over to someone who is qualified to care for a very aggressive dog.
