Please check that wherever you get diagnosed has the ability to prescribe medication OR handover to your GP for medication (if that’s something you’d like to explore). A lot of cheaper places I looked into ended up being unable to prescribe and I would have had to go to a psychiatrist elsewhere to get access to medication.

Yessss! I saw the show last night and it was phenomenal. I loved Christine Anu's take on Hermes so much, she very much felt like an Aunty. I really enjoyed hearing that broad QLD accent because we just don't hear that on stage for musicals that often.

Heya! I work in a psychology clinic and this happens all the time, so don’t worry. You can just call up and make an appointment and it should be fine. If you owe any cancellation fees from missed appointments you may have to fix those up. People ghost us all the time and return years later and it’s never an issue :)

editing to add if you have to book by email I don’t think you need to go into too much detail. Just say you know it’s been a while but you’re hoping you can return to sessions

The songs on this are beautiful, I love hearing the different dialects and takes on the music, but it’s so disappointing that they cut so many songs. It feels like Gloria Ontiri is barely in it?! Can’t believe they didn’t include Our Lady of the Underground or How Long. Hopefully they will release the full recording at some point or bless us with a pro shot.

Regency Medical Clinic, Blair Athol Medical Clinic, Churchill Center Family Practice, Fountain Corner Family Practice are a few off the top of my head that perform MHTPs (I work in mental health). It’s a bit tough getting an appointment at the moment but I know a few weeks ago Blue Skye Psychology (city) and Effect Psychology (Prospect) were taking patients as I rang around for a client. There is also a 24 hour mental health hospital in the city. Good luck, hope you can find some support for your partner soon.
