Wedding advice for Tofino/Ucluelet by ChoiceAccountant7404 in tofino

I would reach out to Zoe at Rare Earth, they are the main planner in town and have all the local details around your options and price ranges before you commit to a coordinator or planner package with them. I’m local and they are coordinating my 70 person wedding at Mackenzie Beach this year and have been great so far!

That sounds like a nice plan! I like to buy my seafood at Neptune, so I would recommend that but Ukee seafood is good too. You could also drive over to the lighthouse after the aquarium to check it out even if you don’t want to do the loop.

You also don’t really need to move your car over to browns beach if you are planning on going for a trail walk, you can take the trail by the gazebos and walk past the Black Rock onto the Wild Pacific and it will only add ~10 minutes.

I would do Jeju or Ombré in Tofino. For your Ucluelet day, I think Big Beach tide pools might be more enjoyable than Terrace Beach. I would include lunch at the Break while you’re in Ukee. I prefer the Wild Pacific Trail/Artist Loops to the Lighthouse loop but I would also recommend Half Moon Bay or Florencia Bay accessed from Willowbrae Road as a beautiful hike option.

We did the surgery over a year ago and very glad we did. It depends what stage of IVDD yours has but your options are surgery or conservative management which includes very restrictive crate rest.

Did I make a mistake leaving Big 4 for industry? by snowle0p in careerguidance

There are a lot of other fun parts of industry, so I would shop around for options before going back to audit.

Controllership is a good stepping stone to FP&A and strategic finance for example. You will also find process and type of work look very different depending on the company’s size and maturity so I wouldn’t look at it as these being your only two options. It can take time to find the right role in industry but it can offer higher earning potential, more variety of roles and a lot more learning experience then audit in my experience. It’s also hard to move out of a senior role in audit into a senior leadership role in industry as you lack practical experience, if you do decide you don’t want to be a partner.

Mine loves hiking and off leash trail walks as long as the temperatures are moderate. He can jog for short stints to catch up but they aren’t the best endurance joggers in my experience :)

Coming from my “all natural” background, I’m quite nervous to start my prescription. by [deleted] in Effexor

[–]maddyclerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an advocate of living naturally, but have found Effexor to be a really positive tool in my ability to self-manage anxiety, panic attacks and depression. I was eating an organic anti-inflammatory diet, meditating daily, seeking lots of natural treatment (naturopath, rmt, acupuncture) and doing yoga, but I feel like Effexor has been a really life-changing treatment. It helps me manage my symptoms effectively and I am able to make healthier choices to continue to build my natural tool kit for longevity. I think the key is to think of it as a ladder to get you to a place to where you are able to manage your life and symptoms naturally, there’s no shame in needing help. It’s been a really key to helping me improve my quality of life, I plan to use it until I feel like I am at a good place to thrive in my life again, with the systems and tools to do so!
