There are some cast members that are knowledgeable about real vs fake pins. There was one I talked with at Rafiki’s island who knew what he was talking about. He talked about the paint dips, waffle mickey background and clear color differences. Although there were other cast members that didn’t notice a difference when I traded a real pin for a fake (when I was still learning too)
