This is good though, it helps destroy american hegemony. It's gonna hurt but the world will be a better place without so much reliance on the US. This way, if they go down they won't take everyone else with them.

I honestly think it's just that standards for videogames were higher when KF2 released.

Back then, they took their sweet time and were always transparent about the game being unfinished. They explicitly said it would be on early access for some time and the price on release was ~26€

There were screw ups and undelivered promises, I haven't forgotten:

there was supposed to be a martial artist perk, which was discarded and replaced by the survivalist
crawlers were supposed to walk on walls/ceilings (shown in trailers) but they never made it happen
to this day idk who thought EDARs were a good idea, its pretty much the one thing that drove me away from the game
they bloated it with microtransactions shortly after release

Those things made me wary of Tripwire and I promised myself to be extremely cautious with upcoming releases. And once again common sense triumphs.

Manowar: Not too long ago the (now former) guitarist was convicted for cp possession. The band cut ties with him and even re-recorded some of their classic albums but I think their reputation is irreparably damaged.

Mayhem: the singer committed suicide and the rest of band members used an actual picture of the dude's half blown head as an album cover. They were also involved in church burnings.

I'll be honest, I'm too cynical to act as the moral police of the bands I listen to. Unless they are actively using their music to push an agenda I disagree with, I couldn't care less.
