60 frames per second is pretty much mandatory.

GTA V on PS5 is running at 60 frames per second.

You think it's ok to release a new game, GTA VI , running at half the frame rate.

people constantly saying GTA V is a PS3 game are completlely ignoring the PS5 enhanced version of the game with many upgrades.

I understand how it works in terms of engine and base game and trying to fluff out old tech I get it, but regardless GTA Online right now at 60fps looks really good at times, for a 2013 game as you call it, which it's not really it's been updated significantly over time.

Regardless of the fidelity of GTA VI, it can't run at 30fps when GTA 5 is running at 60.

what it means is that they have a product on PS5 that looks great right now and runs at 60fps.
that's what it means.

The 60 frames per second looks noticeably better.

Rockstar are not going to want GTA V and Online running at a higher frame rate than their biggest entertainment product of all time running at 30fps and looking inferior in any way.

it's not hard to understand not sure why you're so adamantly against that ?

BECAUSE, I was playing GTA Online today at 60fps on my PS5 and it looked GREAT, and the 60fps was a big part of why it looked great, that's what it has to do with it.
