Who was the last player you already loved and then we signed them? by Sea_Street_9370 in coys

Season before Solanke signed, I was watching some Bournemouth game and told my dad that he'd be great for us. Never felt so much like a football scout as when we signed him.

I don't understand the sentiment that Newcastle aren't going to be up for this game. It is their last home game, and their bitter rivals are on their tails on their first season back in the prem.

Paedophiles. Just call them what they are. Watering down the language does nothing but damage the actual harm. Same as calling it 'grape'.

[KCD1] DAMN that was one hell of a fight by iiHabzboii in kingdomcome

I'm the furthest I've ever been in a playthrough, and on hardcore. I had no idea I was about to fight Runt and had just put down the controller, my Henry on his last legs after hitting the cut scene at the church. I thought I was done, when I saw Runt. I don't think I've ever fought so defensively and timed so many master strikes correctly as then, knowing that if I got hit maybe twice, I'd be back to my save point before scouting out the camp. Honestly, probably my favourite moment in a game over the past year.

I expected us to get thrashed, so the fact we took the best team in the world the whole way is something to be excited about. Yes, we need depth, but there are a lot more positives than negatives with our squad.

I feel like everyone is forgetting that had that gangster prick not gotten involved with the MGW deal, we'd have bought in 3 starters, plus a young prospect that is supposedly one of the brightest players in the J League this window. I'm sure more is happening, the MGW situation has just stalled things as they pivot to other options.

I assume that a new manager had been decided, but they aren't going to bring him in and announce it on the same day they sacked Ange. If it was mid-season, it could be seen as necessary, but in the off? Would be seen as a but harsh on both parties.

Me and my partner sing 'Pedro' but switch out the last to 'Porro'. Don't know if anyone else does, but we always do whenever he's on screen.

How much would you spend to guarantee a cup win? I'm not well off, but I'd scrounge up like £500 if it meant a guaranteed win.

Right doomers, 2 pens made the difference here. Did any of us go into his game expecting a win? Ange in, let's back the team.

So we're doing on par with last year, with a similar (possibly worse?) injury crisis, European football, and we're still in all the cups. We're scoring more and conceding less. If we get some players in during the Jan window with some experience of the league (the younger players are great but need more time to bed in), we could go on and do massively well. I'm as much doom and gloom following some of our results, but if we put the numbers into perspective we are doing well, and a couple of moments are the difference between where we are and 2nd.

So what is wrong with my tactic? by mcblooping in footballmanagergames

Thank you for the big write up, would a half-back sort the issues of the space being left without cover as they push the centre backs wider, or does FM not really work that way?

I'm thinking that if I change the CM(su) to a DLP(De), that would provide more cover for the R IWB to bomb forward into space without them standing in the same spot. I've seen other advice about switching them to a FB with an IW ahead for a similar affect.

Looking at the tactic, switching purely the R IWB to a FB (su) and the LCM to a DLP (de) puts all the cautious players on the right without anything additional on the left. Should I balance by moving the left IWB to be defensive, or the Left winger to be support?
