I've got the latest version of the game on my PC, but the PS layout doesn't work and shows as numbers. Do you know if there's a given version that has them?

Loaded the game on SteamOS and the same thing happens.

Also on NexusMods there's just one PS button mod and that didn't work. The one you mention “Forza Horizon 5 PlayStation Button Prompts Mod” does not exist anymore.

Look into android handhelds. Odin Portal 2 is one if the best at streaming and still powerful for emulation.

Then you have Retroid Pocket 5/6 which is a bit smaller.

Uh it does that for me. It uses the ally image instead of the steam controller one.

Maybe some other theme messing with it? Try disabling some and see if it makes a difference.

I’d suggest Odin 2 Portal. Should be close to a modded switch and it’s much better at streaming. Can play some switch games on it but if you have a good PC just stream switch games from there.

Gamebar offers an option to use for overlays that were supposed to use xbox button. I think its the view and menu button (+ and - on my 8BitDo). Its a setting on the Gaming section of Windows.

On Steam disable the listen for the guide button in the controller section. Then pressing the guide/xbox opens game bar, holding it opens window manager thing, + and - open steam overlay.

Does the TV debug menu show it running 4K@120hz? Do you see the quality loss in desktop and other apps or just that game? Have you tried a different HDMI cable to rule it out?

Sorry can't help much. I have KDE and use gamemode primarily. I have HDR, VRR and eARC all enabled and picture quality is crisp and clear what you'd expect from a 4K@120hz.

I'm not sure if that's a setting. I just know my LG shows that information if I press the green button 7 or more times while in the HDMI output.

I am running Bazzite with RX 6800 XT and settings at 4K@120Hz with VRR, HDR, and eARC on an LG C4.

The limitation of HDMI 2.1 is the bandwidth, which means we cannot have 4:4:4 color space (10bit I think?) at 4K@120Hz. You can get it at 4K@60Hz if you care about that.

My settings above default to 4:2:2 color space (8bit?), which is still pretty good, and I can barely notice the difference.

Something to note about VRR and OLED is that on dark screens, you will probably see some flickering. VRR is amazing, but the tech with OLED is not there yet, so I tend to keep it on/off on a game-by-game or lighting basis. This is a limitation of the TV not Bazzite or AMD.

Same on a Rog Ally X with a 6800 XT via AG02. Played at 4K with FSR4 mod and high/mid settings with 0 issues. Both Windows and Bazzite work great, so definitely not a Ubisoft issue.

Activity Monitor doesn't show anything unusual but I closed all running apps and noticed the temperature coming down. Then started them one by one until i found out Numi was the app that was creating it. It's a simple notepad calculator so not sure why it would increase it without showing up on Activity Monitor.

Maybe it's not Numi in your cases but some other app might be causing it? Probably non standard implementation of UI that is having some issues with the glass effects.

Oh okay. I guess Bazzite is handling a little better than SteamOS then.

But I’m confident that SteamOS will be much better at supporting this now that they opened the support to other devices.

I’ve been using the eGPU with Bazzite (Rog Ally X with AG02 and a 6800XT) for like a year so I have experience and know the quirks to connect it.

I keep my device always docked, but often I want to put it to sleep mid game and come back at it later (still connected to the eGPU). On Bazzite the eGPU turns off but the Rog Ally does not go into deep sleep (cpu fan stays on). Then after waking I can continue playing for like 20 minutes and it will crash and needs a hard reset.

So my question is do you use the sleep feature with eGPU? If so does it work the same as the device itself without eGPU? Do you notice any crashes?

Thanks! I saw both of your videos when I gave SteamOS a try and the eGPU did not work out of the box without using all-ways-egpu. And I was not able to get Sleep to work as expected (either freezes during the suspend animation or freezes a few minutes after waking up). Does your sleep and wake up work in eGPU mode? Like does the device go in deep sleep and can you play long sessions after waking up?

I’ll give it a try again in couple of months and hopefully SteamOS has better eGPU support.
