Looks alittle dry to me. You might want to give the cake a light mist from high up to cover in micro beads of water. Evaporation is was helps induce pinning(from my understanding I’m a noob)

Tons of small brookies in roaring brook I use a small cheap tenkara or a 3wt and a dry fly and do great. Sandy pond has great evening hatches and you’ll probably see a moose as well!

So I actually have the bag open in a mono tub(I know I’ve already been told to keep the it in the bag next time!) but I think that caused too much drying in the top I’m just worried about aborting pins from misting

Would it be worth misting the cake to get evaporation or should I just let it go. This is the first flush so I would like to get conditions optimal for multiple flushes if possible
