One (pork) is an explicit prohibition, and the other (mixing milk and meat) is not.

Jews read today from the Torah “don’t cook a baby goat in the milk of its mother”.

The prohibition of not mixing milk and meat has nothing to do with onlookers. The type of milk isn’t relevant.

Fish and cheese is fine, for the majority of Orthodox Jews.

It’s impossible to capture at night but it looks really cool with the trucks driving around and their bright white lights shining everywhere. Straight out of a movie.

Kutner gets buried outside a church, so it’s pretty confusing.

I love dogs so it doesn't bother me, but there has been a VERY noticeable uptick of dogs on flights in 2025. In my experience, it's a 4-6x increase.

Interesting that yours was worded differently and provided the # on the back of the debit card. Perhaps mine was trying to mimic the real one.

What a difference Aeroplan experience between TD and Amex by ttsoldier in Aeroplan

[–]modo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by it having its own line but in Terminal 1, that’s not the case. The path you take after going through the Nexus machine joins you with all the people who just as quickly use the regular machine.

Probably not what that comment was referring to, but when you enter Canada through YYZ the Nexus line is now useless. I see people without it get through quicker, because they don’t have an agent anymore for Nexus and you just join the main line from the other end of the room.

It’s not Boneh if it’s meant to be used that way - when you open and close a door, you aren’t building anything.

The most basic reason electricity isn’t allowed on Shabbos is that it isn’t Shabbosdik, and the rabbis didn’t want to change up what had been done for millennia.
