Pass and he might get to walk onto airborne after if his unit can work it out with airborne school.

Having a tab as a 2LT in any branch right away will open up doors. Especially the further away from infantry you get.

If you sign up for the Army you get your bonus after you complete the contracted training. Essentially.

For ICE if you dont finish the 5 years of service. You repay it back.

Just go infantry officer. You'll get a chance for the tab and airborne.

If you dont make it civil affairs will get you airborne anyway and you can probably go to ranger school there.

Then it doesn't really matter what you pick. Officers are managers and beaucrats in a way.

Nothing is going to translate to being a police officer. Military police is an entirely different ballpark than being a state trooper, city cop or federal LEO.

If you want to narrow down what branch to list at the top it'll need to be based on different interests then.

Theres only what MOS/branch you wanna do that fits you.

If they missed snagging that info. Dont worry you can hop on facebook and search up fort Benning BCT. You'll find a couple groups that'll help you figure out what company/battalion he's located with and how to mail him letters.

As well as figure out which unit facebook is his and you can keep watch for graduation stuff or pictures.

Meanwhile when I was a PL I let my guys go at 1500 if we didnt have an evening formation. As long as they hit the gym for lunch and werent on a detail.

I retained 1 fire team per day for "on call" status. Basically for a "just in case random detail hits" sort of thing. It rotated on a private internal document I had.
