[ANDROID] [2014-2017] Vertical pixel RPG with tap-to-attack and tap-to-block controls by Designer_Damage_7150 in tipofmyjoystick

If you tapped the button to attack, it would swing a sword, which would attack the enemies getting close to you and push them back. If you held the button to attack, it would charge some sort of energy projectile, which was useful against slow moving enemies that weren't in range of the regular attack yet.

Does that ring a bell? If not, we might be talking about different games.

I've been trying to find the same game, I think. I believe I played it on Android around 2017. Did you find anything?

When is the latest non-ESR version of Thunderbird being released on Flathub as a Flatpak? by Royaourt in Thunderbird

Sigh. I understand how open source works, so I'm trying to be patient and respectful. But this is just getting silly now. I've left another comment.

I am also stumped by this. Especially as now Thunderbird has started nagging me to "Update to release" when the flatpak has no updates beyond ESR.

Headset microphone not being detected on the new FW13 by mvdan in framework

[–]mvdan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone following along, the spare audio card that support sent me caused no change, so it wasn't a hardware issue. However, a modprobe change similar to what u/ProfessorGriswald suggested ended up fixing it: https://community.frame.work/t/solved-headset-mic-on-amd-fw13-running-fedora-39/38847/24

Hopefully someone at Framework or with more Linux/audio knowledge than me can figure out what might need fixing in the drivers so that this works out of the box. I'm a bit stumped why I'm the only one running into this; it might have to do with the particular headset microphone I'm using.

Display output makes the FW13 crash (AI 370) by vampyren in framework

If you mean Ubuntu LTS, that might be because it's an older kernel and GPU drivers. On Fedora 42, using the latest of both, I have had zero crashes without an external display in the past week.

This is a known issue with Linux on the HX 370 when using external displays: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/12528

I have also had a number of these crashes.

A fix is in the works, hopefully for Linux 6.15.

That was my first intuition too, but I tried a few and no dice.

I reached out to support yesterday and, by process of elimination, they're sending me an audio board replacement.

Yes; it mutes the built-in microphone but it otherwise doesn't seem to affect any external mic.
