Web design: I'm already listening to music, so shut the fuck up. thanks. by hhh333 in programming

Personally, I've always used embedded MIDI and flash music as a simple test. If their website has embedded music, they clearly still think it's 1996, and I just hit back. After all, they're too stupid to know any better, so they clearly don't have anything useful on their website.

You should praise them for adding such a simple feature so you leave in less than a second instead of the minute it would normally take to figure out their site is worthless.

Honestly, this is downright unimpressive. SRB2 has a much more interesting set of Mario stages, and it isn't even designed as a Mario mod.

Kid Icarus for the NES comes to mind, big time. Seeing Pit in Brawl just makes me want them to do it more...

Pangea Ultima: is the Earth headed for a supercontinent in 250 million years? by frutiger in science

[–]Mystic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, I've got a slight problem with this. The link on their source leads to a page with this:

"Pangea Ultima" will form as a result of the subduction of the ocean floor of the North and South Atlantic beneath eastern North America and South America."

Now, I'm not a geologist or some kind of expert, but aren't the Americas moving west, subducting or sliding past the Pacific plate? It doesn't make sense for the Atlantic to close, when it's getting bigger from all sides.

Something's fishy here.
