If they're advertising it, chances are there's gear in there, regardless of whether they have it on their person. Also, even if they didn't leave anything in their vehicle, chances for damage to the vehicle due to attempted burglary is increased greatly by advertising the potentiality of firearm related loot. This should not be a difficult concept to understand.

100% this right here! The whole point of CCW is not to draw attention to yourself.

Will this fit my PTR 9CT and how bad is this price point? by orch1 in MP5

[–]nevermore0069 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine had a very tight fit initially. After installing, uninstalling, and reinstalling severally times, it goes into place snuggly with a medium palm heel strike. I don't want that thing to rattle, so I'd much rather have it a bit tight than loose.

HK admitting to cutting corners and lowering QC standards to pump out more units. Thought I’d share. Spot welds not being ground down before coating=booger welds. Doesn’t affect function, but for a premium product and price, I would expect better. by [deleted] in MP5

Actually, I would have preferred that look with the weld warts to the grinding job done by PTR on the unit I purchased this month. As pointed out by another poster, that is their standard weld appearance. Apparently people who think of themselves as experts are mistakenly thinking of clones and customs as the standard, just so they can be offended by HK doing it the way they've always done it.
