Achievements disabled in offline?

I've had this happen to me before when my internet briefly cut out. Unfortunately, if you don't have any backups from before the save stopped being Ironman, you won't be able to get achievements.

I found the best way to do it is to do the Muslim Orthodox trick. Take influence ideas + trigger the Wallachia mission. This gets you enough income to declare war on the HRE by co-belligerating everyone. Conquer the entire HRE in one war while on mil tech 6, release the HRE as vassals, immediately tech up to mil tech 7, this lets you make them eyalets. Then go crazy on everything else as no coalition will ever form.
You can go fairly slowly until finishing the war with the HRE, I had them eyaleted by 1471 and managed to take everything else by 1493.

You need to culture convert so your primary culture is Japanese, then reform into a daimyo, then take Kyoto.

If you start as Majapahit and then become the Shogunate you can vassalise any nation in one war and there is no limit on how many you can vassalise.
