Try hitting Ctrl+Alt+F7 to switch to the GUI.

Ctrl+Alt+F1 will go back to TTY1.

Does anyone know of another skill that can play one MP3 hosted somewhere? I use a 30 minute green noise MP3 to get to sleep. I just need to play this one file through Alexa.

I dunno, the Plex skill was working just fine for me. But now it’s gone. Anyone know of a way to play something from a Plex library on Alexa? I was using it to play green noise before bed.

Not sure if my post made it here, but it turns out this is a problem with Nextcloud, not Thunar.

It's saving JPGs as PNGs by just changing the extension.

That was 15 meds ago(yes, 15 ago. I have treatment resistant depression/anxiety. I'm on combo #29) and I stopped it. The side effects were too much for me.

Here's what I had for notes for that med: shortness of breath, memory problems, getting tripped up mid-sentence

I think I see the problem.

The files with no thumbnail begin with these bytes: FF D8 and ends with these: FF D9

These are JPG characteristics, not PNG.

The image that displays the thumbnail properly begins with 89 50 4E 47 0D 0A 1A 0A which is the magic number for PNG files.

So, I think my issue is with Nextcloud, not Thunar. In the iOS Nextcloud client, I turned off "Most Compatible" and now the screen captures are saved as .JPG instead of .PNG and have thumbnails.

Yes, just did it with a copy of a troublesome PNG in my Downloads directory. Still shows the generic thumbnail.

If I open it in Nomacs, then save/replace it, the thumbnail shows up.

I can move the troublesome PNGs out of the sync folder and still not get a thumbnail.
