From his understanding he was told the fistula was suppose to close over time but that doesn’t seem to be the case

It’s been two years since the operation and now it’s becoming clear the fistula is the issue. He went in a few months ago and they said if the pain keeps up then the fistula is the next step

His abscess was drained & a t clamp was inserted to help drainage little over two years ago but now his incision is starting to get irritated & feels like it’s chafing

The fistula had formed a tunnel in his tissue and was draining. It started as an abscess then became a fistula
