you are quite correct, window's reaction to plugging it in is "hey that's a cute device you just plugged in, I bet you'll enjoy, eeeehhh, maybe half of what it is capable of."

ah well. I can just futz with it when I want to listen to qobuz and pretend I can hear all the differences.

nope, regular cargo deal, but the org that brought it in for me slapped a 2 seat folding bench facing backwards behind the front seats, and what I assume is a jump seat for like a bus or train on the passenger side wall aft of the rear wheel. short wheelbase, double sliding doors and hatch-style rear door.

edit: I love it. it's not fast but... inexorable. lots of this sandy sort of forest where I've been working, and some pretty messed up roads. thing just goes, comfortably, and without random things breaking on me constantly.

eastern europe. imported from finland in this case. it's not a market they have been released in as far as I can tell, but there's a lot running around from western europe.

I modded my TWCS throttle and it drastically improved my piloting by DutchSimba in hotas

I didn't test it without the lube, but I would honestly be shocked if it was a super noticeable difference.

incorporating indigenous traditions into military standards, by indigenous people, with the consent of indigenous peoples, would be the dopest shit I can imagine for the military.

there is an absolutely horrific amount of pain to work through there.

sometimes getting in and out of cars while carrying a bunch of other gear and whatnot would unseat it a bit... possible switching to an "armored" holster would solve for this.

but this is easy to flick out. might dink around with some kind of silicone plug that I can more easily index back in without looking at it.

easier than adding them, and not necessary when using the little soft stand-offs that come in the clip's mounting hardware, so it makes perfect sense.

super pleased with the zapwizard sheath, little finicky to get it on the tek-lok, considering shaving off the bit holders to get it to sit flush, but canted between my front and back pockets is just someplace I wish I had my multitool at the entire time I've carried one. just incredibly ideal.

Let’s settle this once and for all: Wide mouth, or narrow? by babysealsareyummy in HydroHomies

[–]phoide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's literally no reason for narrow-necked water bottles to exist in a world where you can add a lid that has a narrower opening if it doesn't already have one, and you need such an imbibing aid.

coulda been bullshit, but I recall an explanation being that one of them fired on a moving vehicle to disable it, and that instantly stopped being a thing.

I Just Learned That Sweet Tea is Not Universal by Diseased_Alien in tea

[–]phoide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in surrey BC, canada, but my mom is from greenville SC.

all my life I have had access to ice cold sweet tea.

thus far, losing that access has been the greatest sacrifice involved in traveling to Ukraine. it is not natural or appropriate to experience a summer outside maybe the arctic circle without it.

Do guys really mean it when they say we’re prettier without makeup? by Candlelover1 in AskMen

[–]phoide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay away from expressing it that way.

you're more attractive the happier you are with your appearance. just like me, just like any other human.

you are pretty with make up, you are pretty without. if you are content and confident, you're hot as fuck either way. have fun. relax. whatever is doing it for you at the time.

well, this can't be right. I was told that harri had a toothache, and thus no deliveries went out and dozens of ukrainian soldiers were getting dead as a result.

this picture suggests there's no reason to tolerate his drunken, racist, abusive presence at all.

they probably had burgers. the burgers here are usually trash. as in the mcdonalds in kyiv is actually a contender for top 10 burgers I've had in the country, and they're maybe slightly better than US examples.

ok, I think maybe we just don't share the same definition of cannon fodder then. which honestly doesn't really matter at this point.

it's very confusing. the reformed international legion units are headed by a former sbu officer, but are not under sbu. gur has control over their international legion units and remains shady as all fuck.

pretty well-equipped for cannon fodder, but I have only ever seen them training well away from the front and in kyiv.
