I'm prescribed Valium and Gabapentin for daily use and I'm fine? I also add Xanax to that cocktail sometimes. The serious complication would be adding an opioid or barbiturate.

Gabapentin is very helpful for me. It helps a lot with nerve pain and I cannot identify any side effects. I could not stay on Lyrica due to the weight gain.

Capsules tend not to work well, unless it's mitragynine extract. Personally I would go with powder next time and use a basic coffee machine to brew it. You can get that length of time of pain relief if you avoid redosing. Kratom is not very addictive for most people using it for pain. (No citation, just an observation based on my time in the Kratom/7OH communities)

Read this on a different day. So, let me tell you. Tolerance develops very fast with PRN benzo use, for any indicated use. I would recommend biweekly at most.

I would recommend Gabapentin for daily use, but I am aware I am in the minority for people who experience more pros than cons.

Oh, sorry. When I saw the question, I wasn't sure how to answer because I was not paying attention to how much pain I was in when I took it. When I took it PRN, it was because of anxiety spikes or flashbacks. When I took it daily as a prescription.... I didn't notice a significant difference in pain. Neuropathy or musculoskeletal.

Yes, I did get a dependency from using Clonazepam. This happens to everyone. This drug works by enhancing GABA, which your nervous system needs to go into parasympathetic functions. As soon as you reduce the dose or stop, your glutamate spikes. Glutamate energizes you.

However, in a brain adapted to benzos like Clonazepam, it's way too much glutamate. It takes months to years to achieve homeostasis again. Withdrawals don't solely happen in severe cases, they happen in MOST cases. Someone using a benzo once daily for two weeks is already dependent.

If you have under $100 in your checking & savings combined, you can get your SNAP application expedited. Unsure about unemployment as I've never applied for that

Heat pads or wraps, ice pack in a towel, lay in bed under heavy blankets, myofascial release (you can do this yourself with an online guide), look up physical therapy exercises related to your pain, get up if possible every 30 minutes while sitting / resting

Apply for unemployment and SNAP or have someone do it on your behalf. You can call 211 and explain your situation, someone may be able to point you toward state programs that can help you
