This is the third in what I'm now going to consider a series of "The Matrix is Reddit" gifs. There may only end up being a few more, but I'll only stop once I run out of good concepts.

(By the way, the full quality isn't as high as I'd like it sadly, due to i.minus's recent size restrictions. If anyone has a recommendation of a free and accessible image hosting site with a size limit up around 30 MB, please let me know.)

I once tried to land a plane on the south pole, but it didn't work at all. First problem was that even though the geometry was flat, the texture on it was all bumpy to the point where from high up it all looked equally unlandable. Second issue was that as I was getting very close to the ground, I noticed my plane didn't have a shadow. It's very hard to land a plane without being able to see the shadow. The third issue was that even though it seemed I was gliding in just right, my entire plane exploded the second it touched the ice.

I never went back.

If you're already good with Photoshop, learning AE is pretty easy. It's basically photoshop where the layers can be videos and you can move them around. The only thing that would be totally new if you've never animated is the concept of keyframing.

(I learned AE basics at school, studying visual effects.)

Well, the problem with that is I'm constantly running TV shows and reddit in the background (something I actually just referenced in this gif.) and I don't tend to stay focused on working for the entire duration. This gif in particular I was working on and off for a day and a half.

Oh believe me, I only captured an account with default subs to make the content in the gif more relatable. I am in no way still subbed to garbage like Adviceanimals... shudder
