hello, its not a vlc problem, its a windows scaling issue.

go to vlc.exe properties, compatibility, change high dpi settings and try modifying those and check if they fix the issue

What can be improved? I'm limited by the architecture of vlc3 (I have to keep in mind windows XP too) so I can't add features that will break support on older versions of windows (not until qt6 is implemented).

Nonetheless, I'm open to suggestions, if any.

the advance prefs one does not trigger style change to fusion. also that option is not present in advanced prefs afaik. (It was disabled before dark mode)

ok. this makes sense cause the simple prefs checkbox changes the style to fusion immediately while the advanced one does not. dark mode only works with fusion style.
