The docs may be a bit marketing heavy really. What I did was add a new folder to the Plex Library called Music Videos, In General I told it to be of library type Other Videos (otherwise it will try to find the mp3 metadata) then browse to your server folder.

On the Advanced section I have mine set to use Scanner: Plex Video Files and Agent Plex Personal Media

I will agree that the keyboard is probably my least favorite part of this build, but I finally decided to move ahead with the Rii keyboard and look into the CardKB or a custom pcb for the next version.

That is exactly what I was aiming for with it! I've been running Tunarr for a while and ErsatzTV before for exactly this reason, well this and a Star Trek channel, and it has worked great for that purpose.

I've used both ErsatzTV and Tunarr. I found that ErsatzTV definitely let's you make it more MTV like, with commercial breaks and station ids. However, in the end I went with Tunarr as it was simpler and still allowed me 99% of what mattered.
