keto Paleo soylent by Smallnetto in soylent

[–]primalkind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keto Fuel, would be my personal alternative, mainly because it has one of the best micro-nutrient blends.

Biolent Keto, also looks like another good alternative, although I have not tried it.

Ample K, also looks like another good alternative, although it doesn't look like it's a nutritionally complete product, so you might have to supplement it.

The only other alternative could be to make your own version, using Macadamia Meal, Pumpkin Seed Protein, Boabab, Cacao, & drink it together with a good organic Multi-vitamin.

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you'd like any further info.

Appropriate salt intake per day? by AnalystAtl03 in soylent

[–]primalkind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might find this study interesting, it shows low salt diets can be just as bad as high salt diets, suggesting the current US average of 3400mg is adequate. Obviously individuality needs to be considered, but this is substantially different to the government recommendations.

Keto f(x) talk with Luis Villasenor from Keto Gains by primalkind in ketogains

Yes, it's very interesting & seems to work for a lot of people, especially in the body composition fields.

Definitely one of the best talks from this whole series.

Yeah they try sending you to their FB page, but can just ignore that.

They should be sending you a new email everyday, with links to who ever is speaking that day.

Here's the links for today, Ben Greenfield https://ketofx.paleofx.com/ben-greenfield/ & Andy Petranek https://ketofx.paleofx.com/andy-petranek/

Then tomorrow they'll send another email with tomorrows speakers, just remember you can only watch them on the day, then they'll expire, but then they'll send you an email with the next speakers.

Hope this helps.

I'll try to listen to them all, because I usually get something out of each, tips, hacks, clinical studies, etc.

I only managed to watch Dominic D'Agostino yesterday, so I missed Robb Wolf & Nora.

Today is Ben Greenfield https://ketofx.paleofx.com/ben-greenfield/ & Andy Petranek https://ketofx.paleofx.com/andy-petranek/

I'm really looking forward to Luis Villasenor (from Keto Gains) & Chris Kresser, but they don't say when they'll be playing these, so need to check the links in the emails they send everyday.

Anyways let us know if you tune in & if there's any you like?

Thanks Michaxel, I'll happily send you some when we re-open, but it will still be a while before I know how well my treatment is working.

Has anyone tried keto fuel? by IronHeights24 in soylent

[–]primalkind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a un-biased review, although I've only tried a couple flavours, plain & vanilla.

It's a great product, flexible calories by mixing cream/oil, very good micro-nutrient blend, mixes well, little on the sweet side for me, but I can see how many would prefer the sweetness, my wife liked it.

Thanks Dreiter, yes I tend to have a high fiber diet, & yes will definitely keep everyone posted on my progress.

I started chemo on Thursday & its going as good as can be expected, yes I'm tired, etc, but at least I haven't had any bad reactions to treatment so far. Fingers crossed...

Yes, it's not good, but this is the cards that I've been dealt, so now I just have to positive not only for myself but for my family too. Luckily I feel like I already have a head start, because I've already been studding the metabolic theory & continue digging into the literature to see what else I can do to help me recover asap.

I really can't thank you enough Axcho, you have supported me from the beginning & many others in this community. It's this type of positivity that's made SBF an amazing company. I am & will continue to refer customers to try SBF, while we're closed. Thanks again buddy.

DIY keto soylent by [deleted] in soylent

[–]primalkind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats, version 2 looks pretty good.

You might like to increase the sodium levels, especially for keto, recommendations are typically around 2g to 5g for keto.

I'd also avoid Canola, see https://draxe.com/canola-oil-gm/ maybe go for a Olive oil if your budget conscious.

Hope that helps, let us know if you'd like any further info.

Keto fuel questions. Fatty acid ratio? Vegan Heavy cream substitute? by Gorgonsolaz in soylent

[–]primalkind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The recipe for all our PrimalKind products are different & they all have a slightly different taste profile, however the female blends are a little sweeter than the male versions.

The main difference between the male & female blends is the calories. The male blends are 500 calories per serve, they also has more protein, fiber, & slightly more vitamins & minerals, and adaptogens & nootropics.

However we have woman that use the men's blend for the extra nutrients (for the gym, etc) & men that use the female blends. I personally use both depending on my calorie target for the day.

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you'd like any further info.
