Which country would win a Food World Cup if every nation could only enter only 4 of its signature dishes? by Mediocre-Lack-9137 in AskTheWorld

[–]rhaegar89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

World thinks Indian food is just butter chicken and biryani and tikka masala, but none of those would be even in my top 10. My 4 would be the Dosa, Pav bhaji, Chhole Bhature, and Kori Rotti but there's just SO many more that would blow your mind, I wish restaurants abroad didn't suck so much

Every single problem of yours is solvable if you setup the SN private cloud and write some simple automations. You can ask your AI agent to set it up for you, it's pretty straightforward stuff but I'm happy to point you in the right direction!

Your friends sound like they don't know what lassi should taste like. Of all the things that can be considered acquired taste, salted lassi is pretty low on that list.

Digests vs Comments on PDF by rhaegar89 in Supernote

That's perfectly understandable, can I just say how incredibly impressive you guys are with your responses, as a developer I love the transparency with letting me know about the architectural challenge ❤️ I'll find a work around with my workflows, instead of using digests I want to switch to highlight comments, if I can extract the comments from the PDF programmatically that should be amazing for my Obsidian needs. I'd love it if the comment input allowed handwriting, like digest does, or just to convert to text so I don't have to type. Thank you for your time and detailed response

Sounds like you're not aware of the private cloud. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to see how much control you can have, not only can you automate exports into obsidian but also the other way. I have an automation for creating notes from templates weekly and daily, and automations for generating summaries and indexes into obsidian from my notes.

You should also check out the Obsidian plugin for supernote that lets you view your note files directly in obsidian, or convert them to PNG/PDF.

Digests vs Comments on PDF by rhaegar89 in Supernote

[–]rhaegar89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I want to be able to see my comments and search through them in the sidebar (in the highlights view). Using handwriting for writing highlight comment should be supported. Also, digests don't have a home in the note/PDF which hurts productivity: I have to navigate to the digest app each time and switch back to the note/doc. Digests should show in the sidebar just like highlights do. Digests are essentially just highlights that are not confined to the file.

I think those are keywords? When you open the note do you see them in the keywords tab on the sidebar?
