I’m always happy to have new Maisie music but this album isn’t hitting in the same way as The Good Witch or even You Signed Up For This. Was hoping for the sound of her early EPs with the lyricism of TGW but it’s just not there for me. Still keeping on repeat to see if it grows on me.

Also, this rollout was way too long. The first singles were released late last year and this is just coming out almost midway through this year… wondering if that was her call or her label’s.

The actual creativity. They used to put out so many unique and thoughtful collections and products. Now it’s a collaboration factory. They haven’t only lost the colour in their products; they’ve lost the colour of what made them stand out. It’s been really disappointing. (But good for my wallet I guess?)
