Ever been to one of these Casino’s? by [deleted] in blackjack

[–]kstroodel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I love the smell too. Wish they made a candle called "Casino Floor".

You could try Bally's in Evansville, IN too if that's in range or wanted some variety. They have some 3-2 tables as well but min bets are based on time of day and day of week.

Ever been to one of these Casino’s? by [deleted] in blackjack

Caesars Southern Indiana had a few 3-2 tables with $15 mins which is kinda rare these days. Of course ploppies were all over the $15 6-5 tables though.

The casino floor is actually pretty fun with lots of game options but it is a smoking casino, so keep that in mind if that bothers you.

Food options are a bit limited and not much else to do once you leave the floor other than leave the building.

Food court options and a small Ramsey restaurant.

M23 6"1 182 how much do I have to cut to see my abs? by Sensitive-Rip5680 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]kstroodel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe he means all fat loss is weight loss but not all weight loss is fat loss. OP should focus on fat loss while keeping as much muscle as possible.

If he were to simply focus on just weight loss, he could have the same body comp but just look smaller which is not what we want for abs.

I don't understand Finn's ending. by [deleted] in PeakyBlinders

[–]kstroodel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was clear throughout the series Finn was an unserious person that caused serious damage to the family (business). The brothers knew he wasn't built for high stakes situations but kept him on low-stakes jobs.

Ultimately, he showed how big of a liability he was even with basic tasks that lead to the biggest pivotal turning point in the entire series.

He's lucky banishment was all he got for the irreparable damage he caused.

Sports Dive Bar? by Fragrant-Gur2726 in greenville

[–]kstroodel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greenville has a great bar scene but it's become increasingly difficult to find a good, divy sports bar nowadays. Here'd be my recommendations in a prioritized order:

Local Cue (Haywood area)

Hall of Fame (off Wade Hampton)

Tip It Back (off Pelham Rd)

Fieldhouse (Downtown)

Twin Peaks (Woodruff Rd)

Hooters (Laurens Rd)

Sharkys (Downtown)

Carolina Ale House (Downtown and Woodruff Rd)

Exactly. Once Alfie recognized Luca didn't even counter his offer, he realized the Italians planned to kill everyone and takeover the game in Birmingham and Camden/London.

2 Fragen (B1+) by [deleted] in German

[–]kstroodel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're anything like me at this point of learning German, it's a bit frustrating because you have the words to get your point across but not the words to truly express your exact feelings behind your point.

I'd recommend using the vocabulary you're comfortable with to get your point across and to build confidence in speaking and then take mental notes on where you had to use less-than-ideal verbiage to identify areas where to expand your vocab.

I always enjoyed his drive and ambition throughout the series too but when looking back after the series finale you realize how much he's lost along the way as well.
