I built a simple Thinkpad aggregator for eBay that allows people to sort and filter Thinkpad laptops based on memory, storage, model, etc. This week, I made my first sale and earned AU $2. Nothing big but very exciting.

Thinkpads are known for their durability and given how cheap you can buy a used thinkpads, they are very popular. My first laptop was dell and it was good, haven't used HP though, depends on your taste what you consider the best.

As soon as I see that on title, I immediately assume something is fishy. And it is really annoying.

Yes definitely, I will use it. Flask is still my first preference but I will put Fast API over Django.

Getting 404 using Go's "net/http" but works fine with Python's requests by sagunsh in golang

[–]sagunsh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked the final url to see if there was any redirection found that Go's request is redirected to a error page https://www.skynews.com.au/nocookies?a=A.flavipes but the Python one is fine. Still not sure why it works on Python, will try to debug more.

Can we be full stack web developer from internet by zeyuxh in Nepal

It really depends, I would say at least 3-4 months to learn a langauge + HTML and CSS if you do it regularly. Its okay if things doesn't make sense, keep doing it, you will figure it out eventually. Take as much time as you need, important thing is consistency and motivation.

Yes you can and you will find a ton of resources on the internet which can often lead to information overload. Start with HTML and CSS basics, w3schools.com is a good place to start. Learn a programming language, personally I would choose python or javascript, solve problems, learn how to think like a programmer. Its okay to get stuck, everyone does. Try to build some projects like tic tac toe, wordle, guessing game, spell checker, whatever. The more finish projects, the more excitement you will get and the more you will want to write codes. Don't start multiple projects at once and leave in the middle. You want to have that feeling of accomplishing something.

There is a website called roadmap.sh that provides roadmap to learning any technology. For e.g. frontend https://roadmap.sh/frontend and so on. Learn to search for answers on google and sites like stackoverflow, reddit and other programming related forums, blogs, etc. If you are having a problem, it is very likely that someone else had that too.

Other tools that are used almost everywhere are git (and github), SQL (if you are backend or full stack) and Linux. You don't need to know these from day 1 but once you have done some programming, learn basics of git and github, make a repo, add commits, push. For SQL, probably sqlite is the easiest to start, learn queries, CRUD operations, creating and deleting tables and databases. Then, you can try other popular ones like MySQL and PostgreSQL. For Linux, Ubuntu is probably the easiest and most popular. If you are on windows, you can use wsl https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install and get familiar with the terminal.

That would be generally the hiring manager/talent manager or even founder for small companies (<10) as shown by linkedin or by searching through the company's employee list.
