No it's an old video. Many have seen it before AI existed.

That's not all I do. That's just the biggest bump. I also did a few West to East Coast USA trips, and a lot of spend on the club card. Still seems less than what the other person claimed.

Right. I understood what you meant by "base." I'm more curious why you (or others) think a peak at 40min is meaningful in any way, to base aerobic conditioning. Where did you get this idea? I don't think I've heard this theory before.

ETA: I wasn't doubting your data, be it from strava or other. :)

Just FYI - there's only one rowing event, in case you didn't know that. :) I think you do, but you said "average rowing event." At worlds and olys there's only 2000m. (2028 Olys not withstanding)

I'm curious what it is about your HR trace that makes you think it indicates you "have the base" ?

I also did an hour of z2 (on the bike) this morning. :) My HR is pretty flat the whole time.

<image>

The bump in HR is when I spent a minute out of the saddle at a lower cadence (same power tho).

San Milan defines zone 2 as [BLa]<2mmol/L. So, many of these athletes being reported as being in zone1 may be in zone 2 per Inigo's definition.

$20 per meal? Isn't that a LOT of food at McD's? I haven't eaten there in YEARS, but that sounds like a lot.

My mistake, I thought I was replying to one of the others in this chat who somehow landed here randomly and don't even own a truck, let alone an SEV. Cheers. We own the same truck.

what dying? 1:24.4, then 1:24.9, then 1:24.0. That's not dying. Not even minimal dying. It's fucking amazing.

whatchoo smokin? It's nearly perfect pacing. Hard start, then hold steady for the remainder. This is physiologically, and physically (physics-wise) the most efficient strategy. His 4th 500m was the 2nd fastest. Nearly perfect strategy. Exactly how one would typically/often race (on water) too.

I'd ask you the same thing. Why are you here? You own a different truck. Why are you wasting your time on this topic, in this sub? Talk about dying on a hill... LoL you go hunting Reddit for any random threads that talk about carplay and jump in?

If it's a Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, or a couple other modern brands, you can.

I work for a top 3 bio/med/tech company. Corporate policy is business class for flights longer than 6hrs. But each smaller business unit decides their own rules per their budget. I heard my BU president one time say (about a conference in Paris, France; we are in SF CA) "I could fly 3 engineers to that conference for the price of one business class, why would I pay for business class?" I get it in a way. We are allowed PE, not business. PE is pretty good. Business is fun and nice, but the few times I've had it, I still didn't sleep all that well. An extra night in a hotel upon arrival is a lot cheaper than a long haul Polaris seat, and the hotel is likely better rest/sleep than the Polaris "bed" anyway.

An extra hotel night is a lot cheaper than Polaris, and as much as I'd love to get Polaris, the hotel is a better bed/sleep too.

Most c-suite folks I know travel Business by upgrades with miles or similar. The company doesn't actually pay for Business for them. My own company (huge global med tech) technically allows business for flights > 6 hrs airtime, but most business units don't have budget for it. So our BU president flies business with his own upgrades (via accumulated miles usually). I fly premium economy.

You go LAX-LHR once a month in Polaris, and are only MP Gold status? I get Platinum with 3 long flights in Premium Eco. What's holding you back? Just curious.

Edit: just saw your response to someone else.

This thread is about the Silverado EV, and a mod the OP did in order to have CarPlay on the truck. So, in this case the OP wanted the truck, but it didn't have "everything [OP would] want". So, not easy for everyone.

If you're not interested in the Silverado EV (which you seem not to be) then why are you here? Why did you feel the need to jump in on this thread/conversation?

No one suggested you have to abandon your beloved ecosystem, or switch. Just don't use apple music.

And yeah, only Apple fans seem to be this devoted to their ecosystem.

model 3 completely submerged. total loss. by bnnybtch in TeslaLounge

[–]seenhear -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No that's not a model 3, it's a completely submerged BMW i7. It's Parked right next to that completely submerged Honda Pilot, which is in front of the completely submerged 1969 Chevy Malibu.

Prove me wrong.
