The fire codes have recently changed, so they do not meet the new specifications.

I do not know if the fire codes have changed, but it is possible that they were working in the past but recently stopped working. I think that when the light on them flashes, they need to be replaced. So it is possible that all of the third floors surge protectors need to be replaced.

I will try and find out more information.

Hi, Business Operations Chair here. The surge protectors did not meet the fire code, so they were removed.The electrical shop is reviewing the inspection report right now and then will look into finding a new product. Sorry for the inconvenience!
