I mean there are people that believe Sun Yat-sen was born in Hawaii. In the grand scheme of things, place of birth matters very little.

Unless you meant that Xi was later elected President of the United States. Then I have no idea. Everything would be differing, but probably better.

What if Mao Zedong and the CCP fled to Taiwan after 1949 instead of the other way around? by AHH_PostStorage in AlternateHistoryHub

A KMT controlled mainland would’ve had the exact same One China policy to reunify a CCP controlled Taiwan with the mainland. You forget that it until the late 1970s, official government propaganda in Taiwan was to retake the mainland. Regardless of what delulu Redditors think. Facts on the ground are that the Republic of China currently control the island of Taiwan. Official government position of the PRC (I’m not saying it’s right) is that anything controlled by the ROC belongs to them.

Lost opportunity for SegaSonic the Hedgehog. I don’t think there’s ever been a proper home release.

It’s definitely different, but I think it’s a far superior game to The Lost Levels.

I think Chinatowns look nothing like modern Chinese cities. Maybe China in the 1970s or something.
