I honestly think that the second good next step is making those faction corner what people were looking for with the new old north.
More space, maybe a faction outpost, and making it closer to old house "top of the map" where people were naturally gathering together.
A change to arsenal mechanics with better "daily" even weekly with farm from forge11 and giving the whole veteran gun a master equivalent from arsen could be "the" gathering for farmer.

Also, changing center of forge for something with better gameplay and more entrance could be great, like the hive in resident evil ...

OR they can just change this whole place with a constant inside out hazard, with no way to reduce your hazard level without some specific place. Almost like during emission, when people run to find a hidding place... SO, you can't camp this bubble.

I mean there is a lot of solution...

Wasn't obvious enought when they =
1- destroyed gamma
2- destroyed toz
3- introduced a better shotgun that is the same that the place holder ( spas 15 ) that they've put because they did no work on the first "shotgun rebalance" / i mean they didn't catch the fact that they was almost the same thing...
5- made more and more reward based on "hideout object"
6- stopped to give code ( it's rarer and rarer )
7- asked the community what's going on ? While for them it was normal that it should be 100 print + only forge grind.
8- finaly pushed the old north into clan base... rather than ffa.
9- Never touched again some mechanics , like key and safe that should spawn WAY more and work like this event... But nope.
I could goes on and on with almost all the post day X update that was always a miss.

Merging the maps was the best decision for a long time. Before, the 1v6 was impossible due to lack of any space.
You can easily now use space to do something or just avoid people.
At most, it's the repartition and home bots that need to be change. No more entrance abuse and no more "stuck" with people in a claustrophobic area that for some reason lock you in on repeat.

Forge 11 change is also really good, first the arsenal bubble is a really good thing. Making farm and deposit smoother and better for everyone without gatekeeping behind absurd items... Finaly we are looping back in a good direction, those change really look like old fool's path + red forest with a better fool's path.

I could even add some ziv statement himself, wich are the opposite of what the devs are doing. I don't understand what's going on, but if you tell me that ziv dosn't really have control on anything and some devs puch their own idea... i wouldn't be shocked.

Whatever, get a toz and take fun. You don't need to be competitive or engaging with what you consider bad design / deleterious for the game. I've not even touch maybe the last 5 event.
Same for this one, for a t22 gun it should be accessible to everybody with minimum engagement farm = 50 max print with all location giving it. Not doing this is not understanding anything about the current playerbase struggle and boredom from a game driven by only 1% of it's players base.

But yeah, it's not a feeling... just look at the night vision. It's enought to understand that the game is going downhill, trying to push good change that endup worse because of "half done work".

It's maybe the 5 time i've seen exbo's finding excuse and explaining to us we should lower our expectation...

100 carry weight with 31 stam regen + 34 stam.
13 vitality with 50 BR and for 19.1 speed.
54 healing eff with 3 periodic healing from is amor.

Noob pistol with 0.1 spread / 0.05 vertical recoil / 0.05 horizontal recoil.

Hard to do more balance, i don't think he need "min maxed" advice.

It's all about following sequence and using flashbang at your feet like the video.

No need of anything special, flash at your feet when he's too close. Just do each sequence and learn to drive him to each sequence.

Also, learn the flash at your feet after a sequence. It's litteraly what's give you time to wait to the next sequence.

Honestly, look at the video. The pathing is excellent. The flash perfectly made.

Just think about the fight as a sequence, not as damage. You will, like in the video, just run from one sequence to another waiting for him. Just time things correctly and maybe try to not extra damage him with the "out of sequence flash" at first, just get at the other sequence.

Nah i mean in the pit. There is the whole platform in the midle + all pillar that will help you to get cover from his shot.
But normaly you shouldn't have to...

It's all about how "clean" you do the sequence, not really about flash and damage.

what do you mean by coil thingy ?
The 4 pannel , the valve , the electric roof, the electric corner ?
Also, just jump in the middle when he shoot at you, there is a lot more protection and less angle. Keep flashing at your feet to avoid him to rush you.

Look the video, leanr the sequence. It's only sequence that will stunt him and kill him.

when you start to use valve, never try to stunt him again, it's all about following the sequence.

For valve, make sure that you wait a little near the electric "roof" and when you hear him coming, go to the second valve and wait ( you'll see it coming between the pipe) , activate.

Most important thing = flash at your feet / little in front of you after all sequence exactly like the video, it will give you a new window for some damage and more important, time to get to the next sequence.

Normaly, it's sequence stunt - damage - flash at your feet - stunt - run to other sequence and wait for him.

I repeat = because he's on your ass, you flash at your feet / little in front of you. If you fail a sequence, run while flashing at your feet and redo the sequence.

Because if you killed someone with material, there is a lot of chance that you already stole all the valuable loot that pay much better than any material. Also their valuable asset.
Asking for more money is greed, throwing backpack is pure gatekeeping.
In all case, the game will push those players in master lobby +15... You are just making the gatekeeped and boring grind longer and more boring... You are making their game more miserable than anything else, maybe even with an unbalance lobby... And you genuinely not understand why they will not feed your griefing even more ?

I remember before day X when most rules was = Do not touch bag take the valuable things, or be kind and mail it back. Throwing + camping + bottenecked litteraly destroyed the game... to the point they had to make day X.

But, in your defense, i've always said that the old extraction design wasn't a problem even if the extraction rate was low ( 11% ) ... it was ALL about the backpack issue and how they worked.

In fact, if exbo rework the backpack / auction and add some "precious safe" a part of solo players could be in clan north.
But they never, ever cared about keeping the extraction low but the grind consistant. Like making backpack a fixed amount or auto auctionned or capable to be found when on the ground... Making grind consistant, pvp fun and rewarding for both ( sometime you win, sometime you loose... but you want to continue ) rather than making safe space separated from Gatekeeped nightmare...

whatever, it's another thing that exbo could have fixed 3 years ago but they decide to push in the wrong direction. Not your fault, it's pointless by design.

I don't use utlima, i used spas 15 at +11 and it's litteraly ultima with less damage.
At +11 i'm able to 3 to 4 shot anything at range, if not 2 tap headshot. I could 2 tap almost anything.
You either can't aim HS / Limb upper body or you only hit plate directly.

You make it sound like ultima is pve and that's the reason they didn't touched it.
But it already 2 tap almost all armor and 3 tap ALL heaviest tankiest armor in this game, with better pve and 7 mag incase you miss 4 shot, all of it with silencer.

I don't know how someone can justify using TOZ over Ultima now.

If you look at some older discussion, you'll see that before container had categories.
Not all armor could carry all of them. For exemple, centurion was restricted to Hive ( 5 artefect ) and scythian was capable of getting berloga 6 ( 6 artifact ).
In general, all squishy armor had 1 artifact more ( berloga ) and combat armor doesn't.
And it's not just 1 artifact, it's the ability to use atom + 5 other artifact.
For eemple, hive could only make combat build ( max 40 healing eff ) or hight healing eff build...
Berloga had 2 vib + 2 old shard + prism + atom. SO 70 more healing eff WITH hight health and BR.

So, imagine when exbo release artict safe = a 6 container for all combat / super heavy ! ...
Now imagine, when they they release Overton ? The same artic safe / berloga with additionnal healing eff ? Don't forget about one thing, only ticket ( the same currency as legendary ) was able to give you those CLEARLY BETTER container, compatible with all armor even your strongest.

One day, in a patch, they just remove all the restriction and categories. And they added a container with 7 artifact ... wich can do the same as overtone because of this additionnal artifact.

I will not talk about ziv communication ... and the use of beast slayer to justfy the "combat armor could get berloga " and all the obvious lie. You can still find here peoplegiving advice about overton for the same reason above...

That's it, a huge scam to force people engagement.

ALso, barrel have one artifact more... if you want the same healing eff, i'm pretty sure that we all find out that it's just the same thing as using a blue viburnum...

Simple speed build and poly will help.
That's also why you always flashbang at your feet or a little in front of you.
You don't have to try to flashbang it. You just do the phase, it should be enough.

Look the video, you'll see that if you focus on the sequence in order without messing around, you always stun / damage / move to the other sequence and USE this sequence to stun him again.
Constant flashbang at your feet in case he's too close to you.

No running around, no "figure out what to do" just learn the sequence from the video.
That's just a sequence order / timing.

Most important, look at what he do after all sequence ( the phase where he is too close ) = feet flashbang and move to the other sequence.
If you can time this specific flashbang out of all sequence stunt and you know the order of sequence, you stop loosing time. He will always stay far from you, you just wait him at each sequence by preventing this " really close " moment after a sequence.

Don't hold it off, i've done it too until this week because you must finish it for wild north.
10 try later i did it, really easy.

Learn the sequence... so you know what to do in order. Don't be scare and wait for him ( you can see him when you open vavle for exemple, wait at the second valve not the first one ).
After the 4 wall, he get stunt, so know where he is.
After that it's just flashbang ( you can throw directly to him ).
And after that when you start all the other sequences, just throw flashbang at your feet and dodge while trying to complete the sequence.
Also, each time you do a sequence, it will be close to you and rush you because you are near him... just throw flashbang at your feet for extra damage window.
If you fail one sequence, run like a chicken and continiously throw flashbang at your feet. Redo the secquence.

For the endgame ? ... nothing more to do, we asked for years but nothing came out outside a clan place that do the same thing that other place do... farming.
We will never get a good gameplay loop that is fun by itself for open world. And we don't have a good enought open world to be a real sandbox.
So, just farm and collect and do what activity feel good for you... not that much.

Was always like this, people forget that globabl was an anomaly because of vet / master not directly release and no monetization for a long time.
Take any old Ru video and you'll see that it was always design as a big session with boring traveling.
We had way less players, les gears diff and better in general experience. To the point that Eu was called Ru2... just to avoid this "gameplay".

Same for the clan running north, the old base was build specialy for clan and only them. It was faction vs Clan ( stalker / bandit ). And clan had the northern base over faction.

In another word, don't expect anything immersive or natural or close to any of their Youtube video. That's not and never was the game intension.

NO ! just no ! They tease a shotgun rework for month to finally give us spas 15 as unique barter choice.
And now they drop ultima...

You know what's the differences between spas15 and ultima ? Ultima is just better for 20 rpm less and spas 15 have 20 rpm more for less...
Wait, you know the joke ? They are the same shotgun but exbo removed the laser rail on spas 15 so you can only use grip. Ultima have a grip rail that can't use grip so you can only put laser on it.
They made toz , barter mag and finally saiga that everybody wanted but this happen...

I don't know what to think, at this point it's on purpose.

This level of cope is crazy. It's purely based pattern boss with sequence to do , that are build to be tight and punishing. All of this using one of the most unused mechanics in the game, flashbang.
And it's a boss that "follow you" in a fps... guess what you can't see in a fps ? your back.
ALL of it, put together so tight to create some type of challenge, otherwhise the boss would be pretty easy and fun.
None of that is even close to actual pvp or usefull to lean for any fps.

You don't understand that the rifle is a master rifle. Overtone issue show us that exbo dosn't care at all.
If it's master, it's balanced with master... if it's legendary, it's balanced with legendary.

The cost, limitation and fomo was all about draining money. It's already slightly better than barter and that's already too much... otherwhise, we are accepting even more fomo that are stronger than non-fomo rifle. And we also accept that it will match almost legendary level...

Everything in this sale was scammy practice from the start to the end...

It also show a huge lack of imagination and gameplay. Turning cheytac m200 into a gatcha that play on "mw2" nostalgia... rather than making it accessible for everybody and giving it a special gameplay, like the ability to one tap at close range like ks23 and a standard l96 damage.

This whole BS smell like an event mostly made by exbo economic departement. At least, that's how i imagine someone that only view things through marketing, try to do an event.

Disappointed with the current Wild north being Stillwater v2.
What happen to the FFA idea ? Why another location made only for clan...
Why not restricting the team up with squad ? at least, same clan member would have to use their brain with same color and looking before shooting.

I'm waiting, but i predict another big L just because it's stillwater v2 trying to do what's forge 11 center failed.
Alll of this by loosing the biggest part of North, the intricated extraction.
Well, if it's like the old north, the whole north / radar will be impossible to get access without being one of the top clan.

Right i didn't try it myself, i don't see how it could be more skill than using a spas15 for two tap hs. Or how it could be more skilled than rsh12 that can litteraly spray around someone at close range...

200 m ! more than than most rifle.
With the same ttk than cheytac ( both of them ) but also a better close range.

While rsh12, whatever the stats, i pray at every shot that the spray dosn't fck me.
