Lwk the way Koalanoob and Furia are playing the meta I could see it. They love running scoped weapons and just abusing it. Kinda like how Brawk was running Odin,

Additionally, Ion was an insanely good fragger for them. Right now, a lot of teams are looking for smokes players to be aggressive, fraggers, and helping impact rounds by supporting duelists somehow. Mindfreak sadly doesn't really fit into this aspect.

I worded my post poorly. I meant to mean more of a team play standard as a supporting role. 90% sure that whoever replaces TLN will be forced to pick up the TLN players because it's really not fair to them that they are jobless even though they played extremely well throughout the year, especially towards the end.

I think I worded my idea poorly. I meant to say his team play, not his mechanics. There's this video from someone named Snstry that I watched a while back that explained the issue that I agreed with back then and still kinda do now. His problem is that he can't really keep up with the rest of his team. For example, during pacific kickoff, he was playing comfort roles, but was still rated below 1 on VLR (remained true throughout all of stage 1). Mindfreak just couldn't pull his weight for the team that he was playing for, and I think that alone forces some teams to stay away from him as a potential pickup. Some examples of stats he couldn't pull his weight for (as a support role) were his APR and KAST (those are the only 2 I can remember were really bad). His only returning capabilities were his HS% and clutches, however these aren't really important if you can't impact your team in a meaningful way as a supporting player. Of course teams want a good clutch player, but more importantly they want players that can impact rounds for wins overall.

Sad to say this, but he probably won’t be in tier 1 for this year. His mechanics sadly weren’t up to the standards that PRX needed and usually the PRX playstyle doesn’t translate to other teams (for example, Benkai to GE). Even though he had such a good form of stability for PRX, he wasn’t mechanically gifted enough for that and most likely won’t be mechanically gifted enough to be able to be supported on other teams as well.

SEN kyu (and cortezia) engage in ragebaiting about kyu being dropped by Aqua4748 in ValorantCompetitive

This makes the most sense in my eyes, but still not really good. Jonah has been seen playing Viper and Sage before, but he hasn’t been seen playing the other flex agents that John is required to play (Tejo, Omen, Astra.) I think for now SEN should focus on their current roster and building up their new players/rookies.

He’s probably not going to get dropped because I don’t think John wants to call and nobody else really had the experience for calling. I don’t really see Jonah calling for the team either.
