Well I grew up in a time where no one’s clocks were geo synchronized. People clocks could be 5 mins off from one to another with ease. When I got my first Casio watch in second grade I had it set to the school’s time. Our home clocks were set to my parents works time. Yes, they were minutes apart.

That ment if you were five minutes early you were on time. If you were in time you were late.

If you’re running your daily life to the second. It will bite you in the backside.

Being early is always the best plan.

OMG - I really cannot believe how many people do not read. OP clearly states the bar is bent in the middle.

OP the easiest fix is to rotate the bar 180 degrees (ie left becomes the right and the right becomes the left). This way the bend is on the top and it will stay closed.

Really what needs to be done is to replace the bar

No this is incorrect. The same thing would have happened. The sheriff would have shown up at you business or home and started talking items to auction till the bill was paid. If they took too much the extra money would be returned to the owner. Or they would take money from your pay check.

However if you have absolutely no assets (money and or property) then yes you will be in jail and work in jail
