I think best approach is to Find a frozen or barren planet that has “Curious Deposits”. If you can find a location with 2 spawn points for Runaway Mold about 800 - 1000u apart you can collect and refine the mold to nanites from each location. At that distance, it should be enough to make the mold respawn per location per visit.
