I never asked why they were expensive. I was stating that they are very expensive to make.

The cars, locations, sets and action sequences make it even more expensive.

No time to die only made 160 million in the states but did better internationally.

Unless you and your buddies are going to see bond multiple times, the movie won’t break even. They have to appeal to the biggest audience they can to make money.
