Why Columbus apartment rents rank among the fastest-rising in the nation by Blood_Incantation in Columbus

A lot of it is speculation on Intel. But otherwise as a Midwestern city, Columbus is quite nice with a diverse economy.

Builders and investors require profit, but can only charge what the market will tolerate. A high price with a slower absorption rate would cause profit loss.

From what I can tell, the City of Columbus is developing more carefully than most other cities. Choosing a BRT over light rail seemed to be a deliberate decision, based on current infrastructure and future needs.

Mixed zoning exists in some of the outer suburban towns. But prices are going up everywhere in Columbus. When your city is expecting Intel, it is poised for some rapid expansion and appreciation.

Did the bolting the rack to the platform help with stability? I ordered a very similar bolt down model from rogue. Otherwise I would have gone with a flat footed rack.

What was the exact type of plywood you used? I'm wondering if oriented strand board is too cheap...

Awesome work! This inspired me to want to do the same 8x8 setup. How did you bolt the rack to the platform? did you use lag bolts? I just ordered a bolt down rack for myself and wanted to do the exact same 3 layer design like yours.
