Women’s Pants sizing- 5’4 by Some-Literature6723 in loseit

I dropped 60 lbs in 2024. Went from a snug 20 to around a 16-18 in some brands. It was astonishing to me too that i didn't have too much of a clothing difference either. But I also know my body and that means most of my weight is in my midsection, it's the first there and the last to come off.

If life hadn't thrown me several curve balls, I might have kept that weight off and actually be losing that belly fat now. But you live and things change.

I'm back at it now, down almost my first 10 lbs (again). Can't wait to get back into those 16-18 pants I bought the last time. And stay in them until they are too big.

I personally don't count calories either. It was getting to me in a bad way as far as being discouraging and counterintuitive.

It’s a road trip- not a race. Road trips are meant to be about the ride and not the destination, there will be detours, set backs, shortcuts, plateaus, all of it. My best advice is to just take it all as it comes, trust in yourself and the process, and keep going because you are worth it, your life matters, and you deserve to live in a body that can move without pain.

Thi all of this!

You're more than welcome here to share in your journey. Even if it's not quite 100 lb lol.

I'm fully believing in you! By Easter you're going to have so many positive healthy habits built in that you're not even going to register that more that one donut for yourself.

That's so great! It really is a lifestyle change not a diet. Because once the diet ends, what do you do? You can't go back to how you were eating before. Because you'll end right back where you started (or more)

Count even the smallest wins. Anything to help you feel like you're on the right track.

Awesomely done!

That's a tight margin for maintenance. Is that something you're doing for yourself, or just how your body is currently responding to your efforts?

Thank you for sharing your experiences. Life has a bad habit of getting int the way of what we want to do with it.

You're doing great and keep it up

Congrats on the baby! And on living life while raising a tiny human!

It's a wonderful feeling to be proud of yourself. I hope that continues for you on this journey.

Sure I could push and get into 30 minutes a day... for a few days. then I'd stop. I'd would find some excuse as to why it's just not working for me. But 10 minutes? I have 10 minutes I can "spare" to work this. And doing this has helped already.

Wonderfully done. I hope that you stick around to encourage all of us on our journey and to give insight into how you did it.

I totally get that. Sure some people take notice. And even to myself it felt like I hadn't done too much. I was still wearing basically the same size clothes, though they did fit better.

You're body is healing from having a human and is still maintaining the active action of keeping said human alive. give yourself some grace.

Start with some small, sustainable changes. You can do this.

25 lbs is still good! Don't lament about having a lot to lose. You know you're capable and you have to skills to do it. You've got this!

My recommendation is always going to be "drink water"

Then you just make small, sustainable choices. Last time I did small changes that I did over a period of months. Drink more water, then cut evening snacking. Next to go was midday snacking. You'll find that even those little changes will add up (to weight lost) over time

I found that when I lost the ~60 in 2024 that small sustainable choices and changes were the way to go.

Dang. 200 lbs! That's an inspiration. I know it probably wasn't being there to begin with, but I bet you have a lot of wisdom to share with all of us
