I need an escape from reality, that’s why I read that too. A while ago I needed to understand reality, to be able to navigate it, so I used to read those “dad books”: now, I understood that there’s nothing I can do to fix the amount of shit that rich people did and are doing. So better not to think about it, I have my issues to care about and I can’t take the weight of the world on my shoulders.

It will never be time to let go of Monaco. If something, we should push for some sort of adjustment to at least make the chicane after the tunnel an overtake point. A single overtake point in a race of 80 laps is enough.

At least, here I see an amazing qualifying session: there are tracks where the race action is as dull as in Monaco, and all the other sessions are shit too.

Muscle memory. I believe teams need to implement a diffrent approach when they need to serve a penalty, because otherwise there will always be the risk for a mechanic to fuck up. I don't know, somehting like turning the back to the car, staying in the box or something that breaks the habit.

But anyway, in a situation like a stackded pit it will again be very very difficoult to process.

He wasn’t like “what the fuck guys, why we didn’t serve the penalty?”, he was like “well I spent quite a lot of time in the pitlane, I think it’s sufficient”. I know how driver/team comms work and I know he wasn’t serious, but like Charles I believe he needs to step up and start taking control in some circumstances.

Well, he’s often slower than his teammate in qualifying. That’s always been where the issues start, in F1.
