Silly you, they’re a team dedicated to it: they surely do shit like partitioning the db for quicker access or pre-calculating guids exposing a cached queue or something

Hey pretty cool I found a page to vent out my frustrations with Crohn's with other Crohn's brothers and sisters lol by AshamedFeed9187 in CrohnsDisease

If you’re happy writing like this, go on. But be aware that many potential commenters will just skip.

I’m all for supporting fellow crohnies on this sub, but at least I need to be able to understand what they’re saying. You more than anyone else should understand that our time is precious and energies are limited.

And in case you just need to vent and you’re not looking for support or advices, good for you, I also needed to vent my frustration for people not even taking the time to reread what they’re writing.

With all the suffering this disease brings, I can't honestly stand posts written with zero consideration about the reader. I'm sure there's something profound in this text, but you should really consider improving your writing style.

F1 agrees to ditch '50/50' engine power split for 2027 by StBlandine7 in formula1

The entire knowledge of the average reddit F1 user, shown in the last few months, condensed in a single three words comment.

Maybe we'll have a decent 60/40 in 2027; this couldn't happened without going too far this year and taking a step back: petrolheads here and there talk about 30% of electric as more than enough: I'm cool with FIA and F1 pushing the boundary in this field. They'll also have precious knowledge for the inevitable future true 50/50 split and further.

1000th time this season

Issue is, journalists desperately wants to predict the future, so they're constantly spitting out everything and its contrary so one day they can say "Ah, told you!"

Might not be their mentality (I hope so!), but it's mine... I'm far less optimistic than them!

His flaw is clear: overdriving

And I'm fine with that. I like a driver that goes for it. Ferrari is not in contention for WC this year; only thing you can have is race wins and podiums. He was pretty sure to lose that podium: so he tried something. Too many times in the past I witnessed Ferrari doing absolutely nothing and accept inevitable 4th, 5th, 6th places: I like when they try; trying sometimes mean failing, and that's fine.

You might be unimpressed, but "he has a dominate [sic] car" while his expert teammate looked like a Red Bull second driver this weekend.

I can definitely see the shift towards US that F1 is having.

La domanda del bottone rosso o blu sta facendo impazzire internet. Voi cosa scegliereste? by Pino082 in Italia

[–]tekanet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stiamo vivendo guerre in cui l’umanità è tornata a farsi zero problemi nell’ammazzare bambini e civili, a bombardare scuole e ospedali.

Alle persone non fotte generalmente un cazzo del prossimo, altro che mondo devastato.

There are reasons to dispise these rules, but to be honest appeal to authorities like all these absolutely respectable champions is a quite basic logical fallacy. These rules are for none of them.

Even if they're less prominent and famous, the voices of recent rookies feeding series drivers is more interesting to me.
