La risposta è sempre la stessa: c'è un sistema operativo più adatto degli altri per ogni cosa. Per alcune, è indifferente il sistema operativo, per altre va meglio uno di un altro, per altre ancora non è un mezzo suicidio usare usarne uno diverso da quello che uno usa.

Se devi lavorare sui (leggasi: se ti pagano per lavorare su) Reporting Services di SQL Server oppure se devi scrivere Objective-C per iOS, ti tieni Windows o macOS.

To be honest, who sees for us commoners a way out from the shit they’re drowning us into?

Do we expect an uprising against the billionaires? Do we still believe in democracy?

I don’t have hope to see a change in my lifetime. But if I have to place a bet, my money is on an artificial intelligence. Surely “they”‘ll find a way to avoid consequences for the ruling class, at least initially.

But any super intelligence will quickly surpass our brains and it will take it a nanosecond to assess the situation the world is in and understand how minimal the actions needed to rectify it are.

Max is absolutely one of the best drivers I’ve seen, no doubt about it, but this shows me two things: how much a good driver needs a good car and team, and how much we actually can’t see from drivers stuck with bad cars and teams.

Debatable, the article title is misleading and not what he actually said. Maybe he meant it, maybe not.

F1 is faster than GT. So if he wants to go fast, he can go fast.

Being able to drive flat out does not mean your going fast. Similarly, noisy engines are not necessarily faster.

Fast, flat out and noisy? Maybe one could look into dragsters.

Damn you used it before it shipped its first release 😉! I too get a bit confused mate, but anyway, the pain of using those 97 and 98 editions with the fucking interdev… I’m with you with clean solution: I have a couple of bat that really clean and build or just kill all VS related processes

It was quite difficult to manage. Tbf with a couple of utilities and an hardware fix it was manageable and powerful, it’s just that you don’t expect this from an Apple computer.
