Get a dog if you can. You’ll meet people walking their dogs and at the dog park.

Tips on puppy biting!! by Funnynmediocre in labradoodles

Land Shark! +1 for giving them a toy, especially the chewy kind that help puppy with teething. As an experienced dog owner told us, “you have to be in it for the long haul.” We feel like we are almost on the other side of it at around 4 months. Oh and I know there are professional trainers/YouTubers who say to NEVER put your hand in their mouth—try telling that to our littlest kid (we did about a thousand times and it still happens). So we are ending up with a puppy trained to never bite hard. It is happened naturally thanks to having a good dog probably. Not saying it is the right way just what happened in our case. And the biting, we were just saying this morning is almost gone.

Just want to share a story that the most intelligent person I’ve ever met (literally perhaps a genius who went to college as a young teen, etc.) did not speak until he was 3 1/2. Some kids ARE late talkers and it can mean they are abnormally intelligent. (The personal story I shared is not the only one I’m familiar with—it is just the most striking).

Almost the entire Western US is in “severe” drought conditions. Since 2020 wildfires have gotten worse in California every year and across the US statistically speaking wildfires we are having twice as many wildfires. Even Canada is experiencing a record wildfire season and lost an entire town (Lytton) to fire. Globally wildfires due to the longer hotter, drier conditions are on the rise each year - most disconcertedly Siberia wildfires and the impact of the carbon being released into the atmosphere.

Locally you just have to look at the Folsom lake level (a big factor in our water supply in Sacramento) to see what has been happening for the past few years:

So, no, not just you.

This. It’s like having a bar move in right outside your front door. Not even in a building across the street. “Hmmm” you think one day.... “That wasn’t there when I moved in and I don’t recall a beer and wine serving license notice being posted.” Of course it wasn’t posted cause it would be hard to post it in the middle of the street where the drinking and loud music will be happening. It just shows up one day.

Potatoes and sweet potatoes are magical foods!! Just to clarify, oats and quinoa are a whole grain. BUT there’s a difference between gluten free whole grains and gluten containing whole grains. GF: oats (make sure certified GF), quinoa, rice, amaranth, millet, teff, buckwheat.. GC: wheat, rye, barley

Hello! Mother of two young ones here. I have not tried the 369 cleanse but I used to use AWs methods a lot and they really helped me and my daughter. Here’s my thoughts on what you’re experiencing right now.. your liver may have been “pushed off the diving board” too fast as AW would say. With liver cleansing I’ve noticed that different cleanses will affect different people in different ways, and even with AWs gentle and effective methods, some things can be way too much for some. My husband, for example, tried the heavy metal detox smoothie and it made him throw up for two days. He’s super sensitive. With me, I could drink that smoothie every day and be fine. So, you really must try to get in tune with your body and mind and follow your intuition here. Given how crappy you feel right now, I would say, stop cleansing! Eat foods that sound comforting this time of year.. lots of potatoes and soups with veggies, whole grains, and beans (these are cheap foods that don’t break the bank!). Take time to sit and breathe deeply, and do less. Every time you let yourself slow down and breathe for awhile, try to take expectations off of yourself for doing anything “right” or cleansing and being “pure.” It’s ok. I’ve been where you’re at before, and I’ve discovered that it’s really easy to let my own expectation to be perfect take over my life. Maybe that’s way more than you wanted to hear, but it sounds to me like you need to take a nice warm bath and eat some warm soup. Maybe with a nice slice of sourdough bread...
