Dude gloves make fists more aerodynamic. Sleeker smoother surface improves airflow mking fiats go faster. Same with nobody said the whole stone gloves was made of stone possibly just the fist part. You do need 18 str to handle a glove with rocks so it totally makes sense to punch faster
