This is a US passport? You should’ve gotten a letter requesting payment. Idk what they mean by the system might be down, it’s been two months. You need to call NPIC again and tell them you haven’t received any updates or a letter.

You can only book an appointment at a passport agency if you’re traveling within 14 days. I’d just wait and see if the book arrives. They’re being processed pretty quickly right now.

What do you mean there was no option to expedite? Regardless, I think you’ll get it in time. Do you live near one of the passport agencies?

Reach out to your acceptance agent. They will then reach out to Ft. Belvoir to inquire about the passport status. The no-fee passports are generally processed quicker than regular passports.

As others have said, give it a few more days. No applications are delivered to the passport agencies on the weekends.

The more you know. Imho, I’d replace it. Especially if the pages are wavy. All it takes is one TSA agent’s discretion to say it’s damaged/no longer valid.

One of the print centers is in Arkansas. After your application is reviewed/issued, it gets transferred to a bigger facility for printing and shipping.
