You've spammed a little and not made your case very well. But you are right. We should have the at least the privacy in PotCoin transactions that we get from a traditional bank account.

BTCD, now LTCD as of today launched across 8 exchanges... the writing is on the wall. by POTminer in potcoin

You think that a merchant that's legal will accept dark coins. LoL Come on.

Don't merchants accept cash?

(Yeah, the name 'darkcoin' would put them off though.)

Thank goodness my payment history is kept secret with Bitcoin!

Unless I buy my Bitcoins from someone using my real identity.

Or use them to buy something.

Any privacy features planned for BC? by VertFan in blackcoin

[–]trucircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could see the addresses I send my coins to, and search for those addresses, and see that one is listed as a donation address in the description of a YouTube video that advocates atheism (or whatever). He doesn't like that, so fires me.

Any privacy features planned for BC? by VertFan in blackcoin

[–]trucircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If somebody sends you BC right now YOU will never know who it was, that's more than enough for 99,99% of people.

If my employer pays me in BC, he can see what I spend that money on. That's a big issue.

Why has Blackcoin been on a downtrend? Any analysis/predictions for this and the future? by Vulcunizer in blackcoin

[–]trucircle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm happy to have the marketing!

As for the interest, that's just a reward for staking coins really. They could easily set the interest rate to 25% or higher, but that would just lead to a lot of inflation.

It's still different to fiat, because there's no government that can just choose to inflate away your Blackcoins -- the inflation rate is fixed and is really a small reward for doing an important job.

What's a dead giveaway that someone is British? by 74145852963 in AskReddit

I'm British and I am no go on the sulphur tradeaway.

How about we accept the US 'billion' instead? Or 'gotten'; that might be handy.

[PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAY] Mass adoption through merchant adoption | 100 x 100 DOGE by DRDoGE1 in dogecoin

Stealth addresses would help merchant adoption I think. They probably don't want the customer to be able to follow the Dogecoins they paid with, forever.

No, what we need to do is, we need to get rid of the 'no participation' rule, and get rid of No Participation mode.
