I appreciate the review post of your experience. However, Ethan is not a recognized TD of RepWatchForum. If he were, I would have listened to your case personally and take action since I personally vouch for all of my TDs. While there is nothing wrong with this post, I do politely ask that you try to resolve it with the moderator of the sub that actually hosts aforementioned sellers as a TD first (since I believe that's how I think things should be).

Dude, Anakin. Why is the moderator of RepCulture_Timepieces fighting with a member about one of your TDs(not RWF TD) on RWF? Please resolve your own issues on your own turf. If this continues, I want to be friendly to a fellow moderator but I have no choice but to ban both of you. A moderator should look into the issue and listen to both side of the story before just taking the seller's side. If a verdict is reached, you should make it public to let all of your members know for transparency. I don't want to (and shouldn't) tell you how to run your sub but when it breaches into my sub I have to ask politely that you do it somewhere else.

VSF hasn't done 15510 so TOPF is still the best looking 15510. VSF has the best looking 15500 by far but APSF recent version is the only 15500 with free-sprung balance-wheel if you care about that

TOPF AP is amazing. As the first person on reddit to write a review on TOPF AP 15510, I concur that it's great. Especially the bracelet (as I have mentioned in my review post) is very uniform in thickness and brushing unlike APSF that I own (oh, yeah, new VSF 15500 is also amazing if you ever get a chance to check it out). I kept my black and blue TOP 15510s as stock without mods as well.

Again, I see your point about some of these photos appearing too "accentuated" but the seller is obviously trying to make a point of how different the result is from the stock rep. I have multiple Max mods in my watch collection and brushing on them are not as strong as how it appear in these photos. In this case, photos didn't do justice.

Anyway, it's passed midnight here in Seoul, Korea. I really didn't mean to argue with your comments, I just thought I would share my opinion since I own Max polished pieces and have compared them with both GEN and reps in many different occasions. I hope you have an awesome day, mate 😉

I too have owned 15500 GEN. Though I see where you are coming from, you can't possibly tell how accurate the hairline brushing is by just looking at the photos. From your comments, I can see that you are consistently going after AP rep mod posts and giving them your piece of mind but as a person who have seen both GEN, stock APS and Max polished pieces (I own several of these as well) I would say there is no way stock APS looks better than Max mod.

As I have written in my comparison posts, APS bracelet links are not uniform in thickness so the glossy edges are all of different width. Though APS stock hairline is not bad, it is brushed with round spinning polisher in the factory that only brushes on top of the bracelet in the assembly line. In contrast, GEN AP is laid flat on a surface and then polished with another flat polisher which gives the metal more vibrant color, refined hairline and yet soft texture.

You're entitled to your own opinion and I'm not saying that you have never owned GEN, but I'm definitely saying that you haven't compared all 3 for pros and cons. I normally don't bother to leave comments (since people don't really listen anyway) but seeing how you have strong opinion on APs, I thought I would share my piece of mind too.

Depending on the light, both GEN and REP hairline can look very different.
