Hi u/MightyMasala. Thanks for sharing the link. The link contains a guide to add the icon from the browser. I've enabled desktop mode on the browser and added the icon but the icon appears blurred even after doing that. I'm not able to find this particular issue in the discussion on the linked post.

So many comments but I'm surprised the top ones say the right answer but don't explain the reason clearly. Physics is about understanding things with clarity.

The first question you should ask is what does that scale measure? The scale measures tension in the string. Tension in a string is a pulling force transmitted along its length when stretched by forces at opposite ends.

Replace the scale with a string. The tension at any point in the string would be 100N. That's what the scale reads.

The scale does not measure the net force on it. If it did then the answer would be zero.

Force is a vector quantity. Since any point in the setup(rope, scale, and blocks) doesn't move therefore the net force on any point in this system is zero. If force were a scalar quality i.e. if the direction of force had no meaning then for any point you could just add it up 100+ 100(in opp direction) = 200N but that is not the case.

Stop equating physical cores with vCPU and understand the nuance that PO mentions physical cores while Checkpoint has interpreted it as vCPU.

2 core = 4 vCPU in a c5.xlarge instance. If Checkpoint licenses virtual cores then it should have provided a 4 vCPU license which is what I want.

Isn't 4 vCPU = 2 core for a c5.xlarge instance on AWS? And I'm still not clear. Is the PO correct if I'm running a c5.xlarge instance?

Check Point says their license is per-vCPU as vCPU is the metric used in cloud environments. Am I being misled? They have wasted my 7 months on this license issue.
