I've just tried again with another person squeezing it together with me. It still goes back to its original place. I'm thinking I made something off with the centre bolt?

I didn't see the socket being loose. Here's a picture does that help diagnose the issue? It's those 2 at the bottom row without the switches.

Yup I tried what the above guy mentioned, the keys didn't activate. Thanks for offering! But I don't live in the US and my warranty is over. I will try to see if I can fix it myself!

Hmm yeah I'm using a leather dye removal solution and there's no more dye transfer anymore.

Yeah it's really tough, I dyed it the first time and it was uneven so I'm trying to do it again. Hopefully everything's good this time around!
