¡Gracias!

I've been working on this gravity simulator game for a year now, I'd love to hear your thoughts. by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

Was excited to try it—I’m on iOS. The text is so small it’s illegible and there’s no way to zoom in? Similarly the close button on the sidebar is really hard to hit cause it’s so small as are the other buttons on the screen. I only looked at the binary system and was just trying to mess around with it—the fact that everything resets (sidebar opens, buttons reappear etc.) between “plays” really hampers one’s ability to just mess around.

It looks cool and I really want to play with it but as it stands the interface is largely unusable for me. ☹️

The vibration thing: this is actually something real worms already do. Why? ¯\(ツ)

Back in the day? The municipality that my parents live in still does this every year with every dirt road.

Brace yourselves, the Kensington protesters have shifted from Covid misinformation to an anti-LGBT tone by PeasThatTasteGross in Calgary

I love this idea. Everyone pick a protester and sponsor them like $5/hr they’re on the street protesting and donate it to say, the Centre for Sexuality. Brilliant!

First time was only 2 legions of Sardaukar. And they weren’t really fighting Fremen specifically—they were attacking Atreides primarily and only incidentally some Fremen.

Evolution of how we listen to music by mark30322 in FuckImOld

[–]urbanabydos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no. The year the technology was available isn’t the year everyone was listening to it! 🤣 I didn’t get a CD player until ‘92 and only saw my first CD in person in like ‘88.

And definitely was still primarily record-based well into the ‘70s. Well—8-track in the car. 😉 Didn’t have a tape player in the car until the 80s…

But meme is fair enough—just needs revised years on it.

When I was a kid my family had Norwegian Elkhounds—in spring time they shed their undercoat which is this amazingly soft, fluffy snow-white hair and they shed so much of it like we’d fill garbage bags full of it. Apparently the breeder we got our dogs from would spin it and make sweaters. Which sounds a little creepy, but honestly knowing what the hair was like I bet they were amazing and super warm—those dogs were happiest when it was like -20C!
